I popped into the White Horse on Town Street in Armley for a bit of research (no really there is an interesting old map of Leeds) and noted that the old sign saying “HAPPINESS IS HAND PULLED” was gone. Evidently it was not dead but resting a bit. I was alowed to take a picture which is below.
No doubt Harold is spinning in his grave….
